**KOCHI, April 18, 2025** – Twelve migrant workers were admitted to a government medical college hospital in Kochi, Kerala, after suffering from food poisoning, health officials reported on Friday. The workers initially sought treatment at a local hospital on Thursday afternoon, complaining of diarrhea and vomiting. After their condition was assessed, they were transferred to the Ernakulam Government Medical College Hospital in Kalamassery for further care. Officials believe the illness resulted from consuming home-cooked food. All twelve patients are reportedly in stable condition.
