**BARBOURSVILLE, WV** – The Sheetz convenience store located on East Mall Road in Barboursville has begun a complete rebuild. Demolition of the existing building and gas pumps started following the store’s closure on April 13th. The company plans to replace the underground fuel storage system as part of the project.

The remodel will significantly upgrade the customer experience, featuring an enhanced restaurant-style layout, self-service kiosks, Made-To-Order points, and self-checkout stations. Employees from the closed location have been temporarily relocated to other nearby Sheetz stores.

Sheetz anticipates the new and improved store will open to the public by mid-September.
