**Bengaluru, April 17, 2025** – Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) announced today the reopening of a parking area adjacent to the old KGID building in Cubbon Park. The facility, closed to the public for several years, will be available to visitors on Sundays and non-working Saturdays of the High Court, from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Standard Cubbon Park parking fees will apply.
The decision follows increased visitor numbers in recent months, attributed to the growing popularity of the park among various groups and small businesses. A member of the Cubbon Park Conservation Committee welcomed the move, citing the need for additional parking to accommodate the influx of visitors.
