**Tirunelveli, April 17, 2025** – The water level in the Papanasam Dam in Tirunelveli District currently stands at 87.75 feet, with an inflow of 173.84 cusecs and an outflow of 300 cusecs. The Manimuthar Dam’s level is at 85.63 feet, with an inflow of 20.80 cusecs and no water being discharged. (Maximum levels for Papanasam and Manimuthar dams are 143 feet and 118 feet, respectively).
