HYDERABAD, INDIA – Actor Sharwanand lauded Tamannaah Bhatia’s performance in the upcoming Telugu film “Odela 2,” during a pre-release event on Monday. The film, a sequel to “Odela,” is directed by Ashok Tej and also stars Vashishta N. Simha and Hebbah Patel. Set for release on October 17th, “Odela 2” sees Tamannaah in the role of Shiv Shakti.
Sharwanand, who attended the event as a chief guest, expressed his excitement for the film, stating that the teaser reminded him of classic Telugu films like “Ammaaru” and ” Arundhati.” He praised Tamannaah, referring to her not just as a heroine but as a phenomenal actress, commending her for taking on this role after two decades in the industry. He also predicted strong opening numbers for the film.
Tamannaah expressed her gratitude for being a part of the project and thanked director Sampath Nandi and Ashok Tej for giving her the opportunity. She mentioned her admiration for Sharwanand and her desire to work with him in the future. She also praised Vashishta’s performance.
