**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – April 18, 2025** – Seven students from Andhra Loyola College (ALC) have secured internships at leading Indian scientific institutions, the college announced yesterday. This achievement highlights the growing talent pool within the institution.

K. Mouna Rahini and Md. Ismail, both second-year B.Sc. Chemistry students, were selected for the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRFP). Rahini will conduct her research at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, while Ismail will work at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai. Both students will receive a ₹25,000 fellowship for their two-month internships.

Five additional final-year B.Sc. students (Jerri Bala Murali, S. Jeevana Jyothi, Patan Eesub, Peram Saiprabhas, and Boori Sai) are currently undertaking semester-long research assistant internships at IIT Jammu, which began in December 2024 and conclude in June 2025.

ALC Principal G.A.P. Kishore, Vice-Principal Prabhudas, and Research Director Fr. Prabhu extended their congratulations to the students on their impressive achievements.
