**New Delhi, April 17, 2025** – Robert Vadra, businessman and husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the third consecutive day today. He is being questioned in connection with a 2008 land deal in Haryana, allegedly involving irregularities and money laundering.
The case centers around a 3.5-acre land purchase in Gurugram’s Shikohpur by Skylight Hospitality, a company where Vadra was previously a director. The company allegedly acquired the land for ₹7.5 crore from Onkareshwar Properties, a transaction where the cheque was reportedly never cashed. Allegations suggest Onkareshwar Properties facilitated Skylight Hospitality’s acquisition of a housing license through influence within the then-Congress-led state government under Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Subsequently, Skylight Hospitality obtained a license for a commercial project, allegedly in violation of rules, before selling the land to DLF for approximately ₹58 crore in 2012.
On Tuesday, Mr. Vadra walked two kilometers from his residence to the ED office, accompanied by supporters, to participate in the investigation. The ED continues its probe into the alleged money laundering aspects of the case.
