**VIZIANAGARAM, Andhra Pradesh, April 17, 2025** – The Vizianagaram District Congress Committee (DCC) staged a protest today against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filing charges against Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. DCC president Maripi Vidyasagar accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of political vendetta, claiming the actions are driven by the Congress party’s popularity.

Vidyasagar stated that the chargesheets have shocked the public and the DCC will mobilize support at the grassroots level to pressure the government to withdraw the cases.
