**Kochi:** A complaint filed by actress Vincy A. Alosius against actor Shine Tom Chacko with the Film Chamber has revealed details of alleged misconduct and drug use on the set of the film “Soothravakyam.” Alosius alleges that Chacko’s behaviour included sexually suggestive remarks and that his drug use led to swollen eyes, halting the film’s shoot.
The complaint, filed late on [Date of Complaint], details incidents where Chacko allegedly made inappropriate comments to Alosius, including an offer to help her change clothes. Alosius also claims that Chacko’s drug use during filming in November negatively impacted the production and affected other crew members.
In her complaint, Alosius requests that the film industry only consider actors who commit to abstaining from drugs for future roles.
The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has formed a three-member committee—comprising Ansiba, Sarayu, and Vinu Mohan—to investigate the allegations. The committee will seek a statement from Shine Tom Chacko.
