Thu Apr 17 06:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Actress Withdraws Complaint Against Film Chamber, Cites Breach of Trust
KOCHI: Actress Win Sin Aloshyus has withdrawn her complaint against the Kerala Film Chamber and its General Secretary, Saji Nanthiatt, citing a breach of confidentiality. Aloshyus had initially filed a complaint, but revealed that she had explicitly requested that the names of actor Shine Tom Chacko and the involved film not be disclosed. Despite these assurances, the information was leaked, prompting Aloshyus to accuse the Film Chamber of deception.
She stated that she feels betrayed by the organization and its leadership. While she has filed complaints with AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) and the Producers’ Association, she insists on withdrawing the complaint filed with the Film Chamber due to the lack of trust. She expressed disappointment that the actor’s name and film title were revealed despite her explicit requests for confidentiality.
Aloshyus also mentioned numerous individuals, including Film Chamber officials and AMMA executives, whom she had contacted before filing the complaints. She confirmed that the actor’s name was disclosed in the complaints she had filed with other bodies.
Though the actress is unhappy about the leak, she emphasized that she would refrain from filing any future complaints, critiquing the system’s lack of protection for those who come forward. She plans to express her views on social media, but will not approach any organization with complaints in the future.
The incident raises serious questions about the confidentiality of complaints within the Malayalam film industry and the reliability of its regulatory bodies.
