**Kochi, Kerala:** Actor Shine Tom Chacko made a dramatic escape from a police drug raid at a Kochi hotel on Wednesday night. CCTV footage shows Chacko fleeing the hotel after a team from the Danceaf unit, part of Operation D Hunt, arrived to investigate reports of drug use in his room.
Chacko, who has been under police surveillance for the past five days following allegations of drug use and misconduct on a film set, was reportedly on the third floor when officers arrived. He allegedly jumped from his room window, descended to the swimming pool area, and escaped through an emergency exit.
The raid followed a complaint filed by actress Vinsi Alosius, who accused Chacko of drug use and abusive behavior on the set of the film “Soothrakaaryam.” While no drugs were found in Chacko’s hotel room, the police are questioning a female companion who was with him. The incident has sparked renewed controversy surrounding the actor and his alleged involvement with drugs.
