**New Delhi, April 16, 2025** – The Supreme Court of India will resume its hearing on petitions challenging the Waqf Amendment Act of 2025 on April 17th. The court proposed preventing the de-notification of properties declared as waqfs, a suggestion opposed by the Centre.
