Wed Apr 16 13:27:27 UTC 2025: ## BJP Leader Claims Success of Janakrosha Yatre, Predicts Punishment for Gandhis in National Herald Case
**Belagavi, Karnataka –** State BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra declared the party’s Janakrosha Yatre a resounding success on Wednesday, claiming widespread public support for their protests against rising prices. He simultaneously predicted punishment for Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case, citing the Enforcement Directorate’s filed chargesheet.
Vijayendra stated that the Congress government in Karnataka is shaken by the BJP’s protests and is attempting to deflect attention from the real issues by targeting the central government instead of addressing the people’s concerns regarding rising prices of over 50 essential commodities. He criticized the state government’s policies and accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of being blind to the suffering of the poor.
He further criticized the Congress government’s handling of the situation, urging ministers to directly engage with rural communities instead of relying solely on guarantee implementation committees. Vijayendra also mentioned a meeting with BJP leaders in Belagavi, noting the absence of MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, but expressing his intention to meet him again.
