**Hyderabad, April 16, 2025** – Popular playback singer Srikrishna Vishnubhotla is set to perform his first-ever solo concert in Hyderabad on April 19th at the HUB Arena, AMB Mall. The nearly three-hour show, titled “Retro Meets Metro,” will feature a diverse repertoire spanning vintage classics, Ilaiyaraaja hits, A.R. Rahman medleys, and recreations of old black-and-white film songs. He will be accompanied by a talented group of musicians including Rakesh Venkatapuram (keyboards), NC Praveen (keyboards), Benji (bass guitar), Balram (drums), and Darshan (pads).
Vishnubhotla, known for his soulful voice and performances in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam films, began his musical journey by winning cash prizes in competitions to support his family. His breakthrough came through the reality show “Paadalani Undi,” hosted by the late S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. He later transitioned to a career in playback singing, working with prominent music directors like Koti, Mani Sharma, and S. Thaman. His notable film songs include “Ala Vaikuntapuramulo” and “Bheemla Nayak.”
Despite a postgraduate degree in mathematics and a career in IT, Vishnubhotla pursued his passion for music, even working as a radio jockey at Red FM.
