**Bhiwani, Haryana:** A social media influencer, Ravina, has been arrested along with her alleged accomplice, Suresh, for the murder of Ravina’s husband, Praveen. The shocking crime, which came to light after the discovery of Praveen’s body in a drain, was allegedly fueled by Ravina’s social media addiction and an affair with Suresh.
Ravina, who boasts over 34,000 Instagram followers and 5,000 YouTube subscribers, often travelled for video shoots, causing friction with her husband. Praveen had reportedly voiced concerns about her social media obsession and suspected infidelity.
On March 25th, Praveen discovered Ravina and Suresh in an intimate moment at their home in Bhiwani’s Premnagar. A fight ensued, during which Ravina allegedly strangled Praveen to death with her dupatta.
Instead of seeking help, Ravina and Suresh waited until nightfall. They then transported Praveen’s body on a motorcycle to a drain approximately 6 kilometers away, where they disposed of it.
Three days later, Praveen’s decomposing body was found. Crucial CCTV footage captured the pair transporting the body and then returning without Praveen. This, along with the confessions of Ravina and Suresh, led to their arrest.
Police investigations confirm the couple’s account of the events, revealing a tragic outcome born from a social media obsession and a clandestine affair. The case serves as a grim reminder of the potential consequences of unchecked social media addiction and extramarital relationships. Both Ravina and Suresh are currently in police custody and face serious charges.
