**New Delhi, April 11, 2025** – The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has issued a statement denying recent social media reports claiming changes to the booking times for Tatkal and Premium Tatkal train tickets. The corporation confirmed via its official social media channels that no modifications have been made, and no such changes are currently under consideration.

Rumors circulating online suggested varying booking times for AC and non-AC classes for both Tatkal and Premium Tatkal tickets. IRCTC explicitly stated that these reports are inaccurate. The existing booking times remain in effect.

For those unfamiliar, Tatkal tickets are released the day before the train’s departure, with AC classes opening at 10:00 AM and Sleeper classes at 11:00 AM. Premium Tatkal tickets offer an alternative for urgent travel but at a higher, dynamically priced fare.
