**New Delhi, April 16, 2025** – Robert Vadra, businessman and brother-in-law of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for a second consecutive day on Tuesday, April 16, 2025, for questioning in a money laundering case linked to a 2008 Haryana land deal. Accompanied by his wife, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Mr. Vadra underwent approximately five hours of questioning on both Monday and Tuesday. The ED is investigating a land deal involving Skylight Hospitality Pvt Ltd, a company where Mr. Vadra was previously a director. The company purchased 3.5 acres of land in Gurugram for ₹7.5 crore and later sold it for ₹58 crore. The deal, which involved the cancellation of land mutation by IAS officer Ashok Khemka in 2012 for violating state laws, sparked controversy and accusations of corruption and nepotism. Mr. Vadra, who has been questioned multiple times by the ED in related cases, maintains his innocence and claims the investigation is politically motivated. The questioning is expected to continue.
