**Kozhikode, April 16, 2025** – A Syndicate member of Calicut University (CU) has called on the Vice-Chancellor to release outstanding travel allowances (TA) and dearness allowances (DA) owed to college teachers involved in exam duties. P. Rasheed Ahammed alleges that only teachers traveling over 50 kilometers receive TA, while DA remains unpaid for all participating teachers. He further claims that teachers supervising practical exams face lengthy delays. Mr. Ahammed attributes the delayed payments to purported audit objections.
