**GURUGRAM, April 16, 2025** – A 46-year-old air hostess was allegedly sexually assaulted while on a ventilator in a Gurugram private hospital, police confirmed. The incident reportedly occurred on April 6th, while the woman was receiving treatment after a near-drowning incident at a hotel swimming pool. The complaint was filed on April 14th, a day after her discharge.
The woman, who was in Gurugram for company training, was initially admitted to a different hospital on April 5th. According to her complaint, the assault occurred at the second hospital while she was semi-conscious and on a ventilator. Two nurses were present but did not intervene.
Following her discharge, the air hostess reported the assault to her husband, who contacted the police. Her statement has been recorded before a magistrate, and Gurugram police are investigating, reviewing CCTV footage, and expect to make an arrest soon. The hospital staff member allegedly involved is yet to be identified.
