**SAN DIEGO, CA – April 11, 2024** – The San Diego Padres announced a pair of roster moves today, recalling infielder Tyler Wade from Triple-A El Paso while placing second baseman Jake Cronenworth on the 10-day injured list.
Cronenworth sustained a non-displaced right rib fracture after being hit by a pitch on Sunday, April 7th. The injury is retroactive to that date. To fill Cronenworth’s roster spot, the Padres have recalled Wade, who will provide depth off the bench.
Additionally, right-handed pitcher Matt Waldron has been placed on the 60-day injured list. The nature of Waldron’s injury was not disclosed.
