Tue Apr 15 04:02:09 UTC 2025: ## Belagavi Railway Traffic Disrupted by Goods Train Derailment
**BELAGAVI, April 15, 2025** – Railway traffic between Belagavi and other locations was disrupted for several hours this morning following a goods train derailment. A wagon from the train slid off the tracks near the Military Mahadev temple, close to Belagavi railway station, and came to rest on the opposite track, blocking both up and down lines.
Railway officials immediately responded to the incident and worked to clear the tracks. Service has since resumed. No injuries were reported. The cause of the derailment is currently under investigation.
