BENGALURU, INDIA – April 15, 2025 – The Hindu Group announced the return of its marquee event, The Hindu Huddle, to Bengaluru on May 9th and 10th. After a hiatus, this year’s event, themed “India in Dialogue,” will feature a diverse range of speakers addressing pressing global and national issues.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will deliver the inaugural address. The two-day event will bring together prominent Indian policymakers, global experts, and celebrities to discuss topics ranging from the impact of US economic policies and geopolitical concerns in the Indian subcontinent to the future of liberal education and the role of technology in combating climate change. The evolving role of women in cinema and the rise of non-communicable diseases in India will also be explored.

Confirmed speakers include several Union Ministers, Chief Ministers from various Indian states, former Afghan parliamentarian Fawzia Koofi, former cricketers Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami, medical experts, actors Nandita Das and Shahana Goswami, and leading climate change experts.

This year, The Hindu is expanding the Huddle’s reach to younger audiences. Mini-Huddles, focused discussions on relevant topics, will be held in colleges across Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai leading up to the main event. Interactive activities will encourage audience participation.
