**Kozhikode, April 15, 2025** – Three individuals from Kasaragod were apprehended on Sunday, April 13th, in Kozhikode, Kerala, after authorities discovered 20 kilograms of ganja during a surprise inspection. The Anti-Narcotics squad conducted the operation at Malaparamba.
The arrested men, identified as G.C. Sreejith (30), K. Krithiguru (32), and Mohammed Ashraf (37), were traveling in a vehicle where the ganja, estimated to be worth ₹8 lakh (approximately $9,800 USD), was concealed under the passenger seats. Police impounded the vehicle.
One of the suspects, Sreejith, has a prior record involving drug trafficking, having been arrested previously by Ramanattukara police with 9 kilograms of ganja. The investigation continues.
