DAVIS, CA – The investigation into Saturday’s shooting at Davis’ Community Park continues, with law enforcement pursuing multiple leads. Three individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
On Monday, the Yolo County Search and Rescue Team, aided by a West Sacramento Police Department K-9 unit, combed Community Park using metal detectors and a thorough ground search for evidence such as bullet casings. Investigators are also reviewing numerous tips from the public, including social media posts, in an effort to identify witnesses and potential suspects.
Davis Police Lieutenant James MacNiven stated that no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified. Detectives are meeting twice daily to coordinate their efforts.
