**Mumbai, India** – The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have announced injury replacements for the remainder of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. CSK have signed Mumbai-based batsman Ayush Mhatre to replace the injured Ruturaj Gaikwad, while SRH have brought in Karnataka batsman Smaran Ravichandran as a replacement for the injured Adam Zampa.
Both players will join their respective teams for a fee of INR 30 Lakh. Mhatre, a right-handed batsman, brings a strong domestic record to CSK, having scored nearly 962 runs across 9 First-Class and 7 List A matches. Ravichandran, a left-handed batsman, boasts over 1100 runs from 7 First-Class, 10 List A, and 6 T20 matches. The additions are expected to bolster both teams’ batting lineups as they contend for the IPL 2025 title.
