**Thrissur, Kerala – April 14, 2025** – A 20-year-old man, Sebastian, a member of the Muthuvan tribal community, was killed in a wild elephant attack in Thrissur district, Kerala, on Sunday night. The incident occurred while Sebastian and two others were collecting honey in a forest area near Malakkappara. Upon encountering the elephant in the dark, the three men fled, but Sebastian fell and was trampled to death. His body has been sent to the Government Hospital in Chalakkudi for a post-mortem examination. Police are investigating the incident.
