**Hazaribag, Jharkhand – April 14, 2025** – Tension gripped Jhurjhuri village in Hazaribag district, Jharkhand, following a stone-pelting incident targeting a religious procession on Sunday evening. According to police, the attack occurred around 8 pm, prompting participants to block a section of the GT Road.
Barhi sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Ajit Kumar Bimal confirmed the incident, stating that the situation is now under control. Increased security measures have been implemented in the village. Organizers of the procession allege that several women sustained injuries during the attack. Police are investigating the incident.
