**Patna, Bihar, April 14, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 in Patna on May 4th, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced today. The Games, which run until May 15th, will see 8,500 athletes and 1,500 technical staff from across India competing in five Bihar districts: Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Bhagalpur, and Begusarai. The event’s logo and mascot, Shubhankar, were unveiled at a function attended by Mr. Kumar and Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Mr. Kumar stated the Games have spurred improvements to Bihar’s sporting infrastructure.
