**Hyderabad, April 14, 2025** – A man was fatally stabbed in Hyderabad’s Rein Bazaar early Monday morning, just days before his wedding. Masiuddin, who was due to marry on Saturday, April 19th, was attacked and killed by unidentified assailants between 1 and 1:15 a.m. while reportedly distributing wedding invitations.

Police confirmed Masiuddin had a criminal record and was listed as a “rowdy-sheeter” at the Falaknuma police station. Investigators believe the attack, which involved knives, was possibly premeditated and may have stemmed from personal rivalry. Arif Khan and another individual are suspected to be involved, and police believe alcohol may have played a role.

Following the attack, the assailants fled the scene. Police arrived, secured the area, and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. An investigation is underway, utilizing CCTV footage from the area and forensic evidence. A case has been registered.
