Mon Apr 14 15:25:45 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh Liquor Scam: SIT Raids IT Consultant’s Properties in Hyderabad

**Vijayawada, April 14, 2025** – The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating a multi-crore liquor scam in Andhra Pradesh, allegedly occurring during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime, conducted searches on Monday at the Hyderabad home and other properties of Kasireddy Rajashekar Reddy, a former IT consultant to the state government.

Reddy, who received notices from the SIT, is implicated in the scandal. Multiple SIT teams searched properties belonging to Reddy across Hyderabad.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders have accused several YSRCP leaders of involvement, alleging links with liquor manufacturers, illegal cash transactions, and the creation of numerous local liquor brands. The investigation reportedly uncovered the involvement of political leaders, private individuals, and others in the scam. The SIT’s investigation is ongoing.
