**Bengaluru, April 14, 2025** – A 21-year-old second-year BDS student, identified as Soumya, died by suicide after jumping from the terrace of her apartment building in Hebbal, Bengaluru, on April 13th. Soumya, who lived with her family on Sumangali Sevashrama Road, was a student at a private college in Yeshwantpur. Passersby witnessed the incident and rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Hebbal police have registered a case of unnatural death.
