TIRUPATI, Andhra Pradesh – Anna Konidela, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati on Monday. She participated in the Suprabhata Seva, the morning ritual, after entering the temple complex through the Vaikuntha Queue Complex. Following her darshan (viewing of the deity), she received Vedic blessings and prasadam (holy offerings). She then performed harati (a ritual offering of light) at the Akilandam temple and offered coconuts as a votive offering.
Later in the morning, Konidela visited the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Nitya Annadana Satram (a free food service). She donated ₹17 lakh (approximately $205,000 USD) in the name of her son, Konidela Mark Shankar, to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the temple’s governing body. She personally served Annaprasadam (holy food) to devotees at the Satram and then partook in the meal with them. TTD Additional EO Sri Venkayya Chowdary was present at the event.
