**Bengaluru, April 13, 2025** – A vibrant Ugadi festival celebration, combining Karnataka’s music, food, and culture, took place on Sunday at Sahakaranagar Grounds in Bengaluru. Organized by Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda, the “Ugadi Vasantha Sambhrama” event showcased the state’s rich heritage throughout the day.

A highlight was “Karunadu Swada,” a culinary celebration featuring forgotten recipes and regional delicacies presented by MTR Foods. The event also included “Bhaava dhaare,” a musical performance by renowned Kannada artists like M.D. Pallavi, Vinay Nadig, Praveen Pradeep, Supriya Acharya, and Jogi Sunitha. A talk show by popular Kannada orator Krishne Gowda and various competitions, including dance, drawing, traditional dress, and cooking, further enriched the festivities.

Minister Byregowda emphasized the importance of celebrating Ugadi, the traditional New Year, by meaningfully showcasing the state’s cultural heritage. The event attracted a large crowd and was deemed a resounding success.
