**Jaipur:** Royal Challengers Bangalore secured a resounding victory over Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets in a thrilling IPL 2025 match held in Jaipur. Chasing a target of 174, Bangalore openers Faf du Plessis (65 runs off 33 balls, including 5 fours and 6 sixes) and Virat Kohli (62* runs off 45 balls, 4 fours, 2 sixes) orchestrated a dominant chase, reaching the target in just 17.3 overs. Du Plessis was eventually dismissed by Kartikeya, caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Devdutt Padikkal (40* runs off 28 balls) provided able support alongside Kohli to see Bangalore home. Du Plessis was named Player of the Match.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, managed 173/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
