**Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh – April 14, 2025** – A new religious tourism circuit linking Tirupati with several significant religious and cultural sites in the vicinity has been announced. The initiative, a joint venture between the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, aims to enhance the pilgrim experience beyond the famed Tirumala temple.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and other officials, recently reviewed the project in Vontimitta, Kadapa district. The circuit will encompass sites such as Kanipakam, Srikalahasti, Tallapaka (Annamacharya’s birthplace), Gandikota (the “Grand Canyon of India”), and Vontimitta, home to the ancient Kodandarama Swamy temple.

The proposed two-day/three-night itinerary includes an overnight stay in Gandikota, allowing tourists to enjoy the scenic Penna River. Further development plans for Vontimitta include a new water body with a Jambavantha statue and boating facilities, along with improvements to local accommodation. The TTD, private operators, and donors will collaborate on these improvements. Chief Minister Naidu has tentatively approved the project following a thorough review.
