**Miryalaguda, Telangana:** A tragic incident unfolded in Miryalaguda town, Nalgonda district, on Saturday evening, leaving a community in shock. A woman and her young daughter were found dead under suspicious circumstances.
Gurram Sitaram Reddy, a sales manager at a fertilizer company in Macherla, Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, had left for Hyderabad on October 10th for work. Upon his return on Saturday evening, he discovered his wife, Rajaswari (34), and younger daughter, Veda Saishree (13), deceased. His older daughter woke him up, stating her mother and sister were asleep. Upon checking on his younger daughter, Sitaram Reddy found her throat slit. He then discovered his wife had apparently hanged herself in another room, the door locked from inside.
Police, including DSP Rajasekhar Raju, arrived at the scene. They noted that Rajaswari also had a cut on her left wrist. The police have registered a case of suspicious death and a clues team is collecting evidence. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined pending further investigation.
Relatives gathered at the family’s home, grieving the loss of the mother and daughter. The incident has deeply affected the Miryalaguda community.
