The false narrative, which spread rapidly via YouTube videos and social media, included fabricated details such as a 2023 FBI raid on Harrison’s home, multiple felony charges, and widely circulated images of his arrest.
Investigations by Snopes and the US Prison Guide revealed no credible evidence supporting the claims. Reputable news outlets have not reported on any such legal proceedings against Harrison. Furthermore, images purportedly showing Harrison in handcuffs or a prison jumpsuit were determined to be AI-generated.
Several YouTube videos propagating the false story included disclaimers stating their content blended fact, rumor, and fiction. However, other videos shared the false information without such disclaimers, leading to significant confusion and online spread.
The fabricated narrative also included the false claim of a “Department of Cultural Heritage Protection” involvement in the supposed case – a department that does not exist within the U.S. government.

How can people do this? Can they be held accountable for spreading such lies. I was recently accused and was fired from a job without being able to defend myself. It has train wreaked my life and others. Sent me into a deep depression, it cost me my job, it cost me my reputation, it effected me emotionally, physically, it ended a relationship of 23 years, it effected my son and has shattered our relationship and he has shut me off. I can’t imagine having this all over the T.V and internet. We are a sad country at this point. Who can stop this??
