**TIRUMALA, INDIA – April 14, 2025** – Anna Konidela, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple on Monday to offer prayers after her son, Mark Shankar, escaped a recent fire incident in Singapore with minor injuries.
Konidela, who arrived in Tirumala on Sunday evening, first visited the Varaha Swamy temple before proceeding with a VIP darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Monday morning. She submitted a declaration to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) affirming her faith in the deity, a requirement for non-Hindu visitors. Pawan Kalyan remained in Andhra Pradesh due to government commitments.
Mark Shankar’s escape from the Singapore fire prompted Konidela’s pilgrimage to offer prayers of thanks for her son’s safety.
