Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – Andhra Pradesh’s IT and Human Resources Development Minister, Nara Lokesh, inaugurated the foundation-laying ceremony for a new 100-bed government hospital near Chinakakani in Mangalagiri mandal on Sunday. The hospital, slated for completion within a year, will offer orthopedic, gynecological, general medicine, and general surgery services and aims to match the standards of private corporate hospitals.

Minister Lokesh stated that the project aligns with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision to establish 100-bed hospitals in every constituency. He attributed the hospital’s approval to the coalition government’s commitment to holistic regional development, highlighting Mangalagiri’s significant role. Lokesh expressed gratitude for his resounding victory in the 2024 elections, securing a 91,000-vote majority, and pledged to continue developing the constituency. Several other officials, including Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh and A.P. State Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao, were present at the ceremony.
