Sun Apr 13 01:00:00 UTC 2025: ## TDP Leader Rejects Ex-TTD Chairman’s Claims of Cattle Deaths
**Oravakallu, April 12, 2025:** Mallela Rajasekhar, TDP Nandyal district president and a member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board, has vehemently refuted allegations made by former TTD chairman Bhuman Karunakar Reddy regarding the deaths of over 100 cows at the SV Gosala. Rajasekhar called the allegations “blatant lies” and challenged Reddy to visit the Gosala to verify the facts.
Speaking at a press conference in Husenapuram, Rajasekhar accused Reddy of attempting to defame the TTD and incite religious disharmony. He admitted that some cows had died due to illness, a common occurrence in such facilities, but insisted the numbers were far lower than claimed.
Rajasekhar further questioned the YSRCP government’s handling of TTD funds, alleging the diversion of ₹1100 crore. He also criticized the YSRCP for allegedly abandoning a project initiated by the TDP for cow worship and weighing ceremonies in 2015. The press conference was attended by several TDP leaders, including Govindar Reddy and KV Madhu.
