**Tehran, [Date]** – The prices of gold and coins experienced a significant downturn in today’s Iranian market, according to reports from *Donya-e Eqtesad*.

While the international price of gold remained steady at $3,238 per ounce, the domestic market saw substantial declines. The price of 18-karat gold fell by 5.6 percent, reaching 7,076,000 tomans per gram. A 17.7-gram (one misqal) of 18-karat gold also dropped, experiencing a 5.79 percent decrease to 30,700,000 tomans.

The decline extended to coin prices. The price of an Emami gold coin fell by 6.67 percent to 82,500,000 tomans. Half-coins decreased by 2.66 percent, trading at 56,500,000 tomans, while quarter-coins saw a 6.31 percent drop, settling at 28,500,000 tomans. Gram gold coins also experienced a decrease of 2.79 percent, closing at 14,300,000 tomans.
