**Thiruvananthapuram, April 12, 2025** – A summer camp organized by the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare kicked off Saturday, gifting participants jasmine saplings as a traditional Vishu “kaineettam” (gift). The camp, inaugurated by MLA Kadakampally Surendran, will run until May 25th at the Government Lower Primary School in Thycaud.
The program aims to foster children’s physical and mental well-being, social skills, and talent development. Activities include counseling, health classes, and training in artificial intelligence, robotics, and arts. Children aged 7-16 are welcome to participate.
