**TIRUPATTUR, April 12, 2025** – T. Abdul Wahid (TAW) College for Women held its inaugural college day celebrations on Saturday at its campus near Ambur. The event featured Thiruvalluvar University Vice-Chancellor T. Arumugam as chief guest.
In his address, Mr. Arumugam stressed the vital role of women’s education in societal progress. He encouraged students to strive for academic excellence and contribute to nation-building, highlighting the increasing opportunities available to women and the importance of empowering them through quality education.
Principal Shanaz Ahamed presented the college’s annual report, detailing its academic programs, achievements, and the institution’s strong performance in university examinations. She attributed this success to the combined efforts of staff and students. The event was also attended by chairman T. Rafeeq Ahmed.
