**COIMBATORE, April 12, 2025** – Chocko Choza, a Coimbatore-based artisanal bakery and café, has opened a new, larger location at Race Course. The 70-seater, two-story restaurant boasts a central courtyard and serves a globally-inspired menu, including South Indian favorites. The establishment, which began as a small chocolate shop in 2007, is known for its commitment to using fresh, natural ingredients, avoiding artificial colors, flavors, and hydrogenated vegetable fat.

Co-founder P Dhivya emphasizes the café’s dedication to quality, stating, “From the time we started out, we wanted to offer our customers the kind of food we would offer our daughter.” This philosophy is evident in dishes like the wheat spinach focaccia, served with chicken and quail eggs, and the homemade sauces and pulps made in small batches to maintain freshness.

Reviewers praised the variety and quality of the food, highlighting the flaky croissants, wood-fired pizzas (particularly the “burrata bliss”), crispy chicken popcorn, and creamy mushroom pasta. The extensive dessert menu, featuring artisanal gelatos and plated desserts like apple crumble, also received positive attention. Chocko Choza’s chocolate offerings, including the Milky Magic and Chocko Brew, were described as standouts.

The new location offers a diverse menu featuring a blend of global and South Indian cuisine.
