Sat Apr 12 05:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Exam Results Released; Record Pass Percentage Achieved

**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh released the results for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) today at 11:00 AM. This year’s results show a record-high pass percentage, exceeding previous years’ figures. The overall pass percentage for first-year students is 70%, and for second-year students, it’s 83%. This marks the highest pass rate in the last decade, with government junior colleges recording a 69% pass rate for second-year students – also a ten-year high. First-year students in government colleges achieved a 47% pass rate, the second highest in the last decade.

Minister Lokesh attributed the improvement, particularly in government-run institutions, to various initiatives implemented by the state government. The evaluation process, completed in four phases across 25 centers, began on March 17th immediately following the completion of exams on March 20th. The rapid release of results was facilitated by the use of computerized evaluation. Over 10 lakh students appeared for the examinations.

The Board of Intermediate Education also announced supplementary exam dates for students who failed. The supplementary exams will be held from May 12th to 20th, with exam timings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Fee payment for the supplementary exams will be accepted from April 15th to 22nd.
