**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh:** The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate First Year results for 2025 were released today at 11:00 AM by State Education Minister Nara Lokesh. A total of approximately 500,000 students appeared for the exams, with an overall pass percentage of 70%, a 3% increase from last year’s 67%. This year’s pass percentage marks the highest in the last decade.
Krishna district secured the highest pass percentage, while Chittoor district recorded the lowest. The pass percentage for boys was 66%, while girls achieved a higher pass rate of 75%. A total of 238,107 boys and 249,188 girls appeared for the exam.
Minister Lokesh expressed his satisfaction with the improved results, particularly noting the progress in government and government-aided institutions. Supplementary exams are scheduled to commence on May 12th and conclude on May 20th.
