**New Delhi, India** – Hanuman Jayanti, the birth anniversary of the Hindu deity Lord Hanuman, will be observed on April 12th, 2025. Devotees will mark the occasion with prayers and offerings, seeking blessings from the “God of the Kali Yuga,” believed to still reside on Earth. It is believed that sincere worship on this day fulfills wishes. However, celebrations are overshadowed by ongoing violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal, stemming from protests against the Wakf Act. BSF troops have been deployed in Shamsherganj to quell the unrest and prevent further violence and arson.
