Fri Apr 11 13:10:00 UTC 2025: **Grand Wedding Ceremony of Lord Kodanda Ramaswamy at Ootimitta**

KADAPA, October 25, 2023 – The Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple in Ootimitta, YSR district, is set to host a grand wedding ceremony on Friday. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the YSR district administration are making elaborate arrangements for the event, expecting over one lakh devotees to witness the celestial wedding of Lord Rama and Sita.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with Minister Nara Lokesh and his wife Brahmani, will be attending the ceremony. They will offer silk clothes and pearl garlands to the deity at 5 PM. The wedding ceremony will commence at 5:30 PM in a newly constructed 52-acre Kalyana Vedika. The event will be held in the presence of Vedic scholars and will be visible to devotees seated in 147 galleries built on either side of the venue. Large LED screens have also been installed for better visibility.

TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, EO Shyamal Rao, Collector Cherukuri Sridhar, and CVSO Harshavardhan Raju are overseeing the arrangements.
