Fri Apr 11 06:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Bring Daughters to “Smash” Broadway Premiere

**NEW YORK, NY** – Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick made a stylish family affair out of the opening night of the new Broadway musical “Smash” on Thursday, April 10th. The couple, along with their 15-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, graced the red carpet at the Imperial Theatre.

The musical, a stage adaptation of the NBC series of the same name, features many of the original songs from the show’s fictional Marilyn Monroe bio-musical, “Bombshell,” penned by the Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning team of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. The production boasts a star-studded cast and creative team, including director Susan Stroman and choreographer Joshua Bergasse. Producers include Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron, Steven Spielberg, and Jennifer Hudson.

Parker and Broderick, who celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary in May, are longtime friends of Shaiman and Wittman and have been supportive of the project since the original television series premiered in 2012. Their daughters joined them for the special occasion, all dressed in formal attire.

While the couple’s son, James Wilkie, is pursuing an acting career, Broderick recently revealed that one of his twin daughters has shown no interest in following in her parents’ footsteps.

Tickets for “Smash” are currently on sale.
