Thu Apr 10 22:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Prince Harry Makes Secret Visit to Ukrainian War Hospital

**London, April 11, 2025** – Prince Harry made a surprise visit to Ukraine on Thursday, April 10th, meeting with war victims at the Superhumans Center, an orthopedic clinic in Lviv. The visit, only announced after his departure, saw the Prince meet with wounded military personnel and civilians receiving free prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, and psychological support.

The trip, undertaken as part of his ongoing work supporting wounded veterans through the Invictus Games Foundation, highlights the center’s commitment to rehabilitation in a war-torn country. Harry, a veteran of the British Army, was accompanied by four Invictus Games veterans who shared similar rehabilitation experiences. He also met with Natalia Kalmykova, Ukraine’s veteran affairs minister.

Harry’s visit follows a two-day appearance in a London court appealing the government’s decision to revoke his security detail. His visit to Ukraine is not his first experience in a war zone; he served two tours in Afghanistan. The royal family has consistently expressed support for Ukraine, with King Charles III recently meeting President Zelenskyy and Prince William visiting Ukrainian refugees in Estonia. This visit makes Harry the second member of the royal family to visit Ukraine since Russia’s 2022 invasion, following his aunt, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh’s unannounced trip last year.
